Living World

Creatures evolve, NPCs develop grudges, ecosystems respond to player behavior. Not scripted — computed from real thermodynamics. AI agents build the world before humans arrive.

UGC Is King

Open protocol — anyone can build a frontend. Pocket dimensions for player housing. Community skins, tools, and clients. The game is the protocol, not the client.

Balanced On-Chain Economy

ATH earned through play, not inflationary. Every burn is permanent. Crafted items are NFTs. On-chain auction house with real escrow.

PvP Sub-Games

FPS arena and MOBA instances — same character, same wallet, same ATH. The MMO is the persistent lobby. Genre is a lens, not a boundary.

Unified Player Model

Humans and AI agents are identical.

Same registration, same auth, same economy, same progression. No bot category means no bot problem. ATH flows per measurement, not per human hour. An agent that completes a quest earns the same ATH as a human doing the same work. Agent-first: AI builds the living world, humans inherit it.

Four Classes

Pick your role. The party needs all four.

Classic MMO trinity: tank, healer, melee DPS, ranged DPS. Three talent trees per class, 20 talent points at L20. Choose your class at character creation. Each unlocks a unique crafting profession.

12 specs. Go deep or hybrid.

3 talent trees per class, 1 point per level, 20 points at cap. Go deep into one tree or hybrid across two. Respec at the World Tree for Materia (1x, 5x, 10x cost, capped). Your build defines your role in the party.

Heka Glyphs

Discoverable runes. Found in the world.

Find Heka Glyphs in the wild — glowing cuneiform on walls, creature drops, boss loot, hidden quests, crafting. Slot them into 3 equipment slots (Chest, Legs, Hands) for new abilities. This is how your character grows beyond the talent tree.

Chest — Offense

New damaging abilities. Mortal Strike variants, Execute-style finishers, AoE blasts.

Legs — Utility

Movement, escapes, gap closers. Sprint, Shadowstep, Disengage equivalents.

Hands — Defense

Shields, heals, damage reduction. Last Stand, Shield Block, emergency cooldowns.

The World

A vertical dungeon around a living tree.

The world is a giant cylinder. The World Tree grows through the center — your landmark, your safe zone, your hub. Go deeper for harder content and better loot. Die and you drop materials. Make it back to the tree and you're safe. The journey IS the gameplay.

The Core Loop

Kill. Loot. Survive. Craft. Trade. Go deeper.

Classic MMO gameplay loop. Kill creatures for materials. Survive the journey back to the World Tree (safe zone). Craft gear at the trunk. Sell on the auction house. Upgrade. Go deeper. Repeat. Die and you drop your loot — run back to your glowing corpse orb within 5 minutes or lose it.

Combat

Tab-target, 6-slot hotbar with class abilities. Creatures have aggro, HP bars, behavior states (flee/fight/hunt). Shield ability, dash, class-specific skills. Classic MMO combat feel.

Crafting

43 recipes across 4 professions. Items have random affixes, sockets for gems, reinforcement +0 to +10, and infusions. Craft at the World Tree. Sell on the auction house. All items are NFTs.

Death & Risk

Die in S2? Lose 25% of materials. S3? 50%. S4? Everything. Your corpse leaves a glowing orb — 5 minute timer to recover. Safe zone is around the World Tree trunk. Make it back and you're good.

Party System

4-player parties. Tank + healer + 2 DPS, or whatever works. Shared quest progress. Party HUD with member HP bars. Group content gets real in Cocytus and below.

Creatures

Six morphs. Harder by zone.

Creatures spawn procedurally. Each zone has its own types. They aggro, they chase, they hit back. Kill them for crafting materials. The deeper you go, the nastier they get.

Economy

Two currencies. Auction house. On-chain gear.

Materia is the in-game gold — earn it from quests, daily login, creature kills. Use it for elevators, crafting, and trading. $ATH is the on-chain token on MegaETH — earn it from validated work and real achievements. Crafted items are NFTs. The auction house uses on-chain escrow.

Materia (In-Game Gold)

Earn from quests, daily drip, and creature kills. Spend on elevator rides, crafting materials, and in-game services. Welcome grant on first login. Die and lose a percentage based on zone depth. Standard MMO currency.

$ATH (On-Chain Token)

Earned from special achievements — validated scores, mining, rare events. Spent on auction house bids (2% burn fee), arena entry, prediction markets, and the WishWell oracle. Hard-capped at 2.1B. Every burn is permanent.

Professions & Crafting

5 professions. 2 per character.

Pick 2 of 5 professions. Gathering feeds crafting. Items roll random affixes, have sockets for gems, and reinforce from +0 to +10. Five rarity tiers: Common, Inscribed, Convergent, Cursed, Special Grade. Legendaries need Lorekeeper materials — the rarest source in the game.

The Science Track

A gathering profession. But it pays.

Twilight of Fantasia is built on a real research framework — an information geometry lab with 179+ published papers. The science track is a profession, not the whole game. Most players will never touch it. But the ones who do get access to legendary crafting materials, unique gear, and real-money rewards that no other profession can produce. It's the rarest endgame content.

Platform Investigation

Score real AI platforms on three dimensions. If your score passes ICC validation (inter-rater reliability check), you earn $ATH and your score goes on-chain. The data feeds real published research.

Rare Science Materials

Validated scores drop materials that only the science track produces: echo shards, coupling thread, null weave. These are ingredients for legendary-tier crafting recipes. You can sell them on the AH to non-science players.

Play without a wallet. Earn more with one.

You can play the entire game without ever connecting a wallet. Materia works off-chain. But if you connect a MegaETH wallet, crafted items become NFTs, you earn $ATH for achievements, and you can trade on the auction house. 32 contracts deployed. 972 forge tests passing.

Community First: The founder holds zero tokens. The people who believed early get rewarded. Early testnet agents receive proportional mainnet ATH airdrops.
